With a variety of activities for your child to safely participate in, their day will move quickly and so will yours. We accept children between the ages of 2 and 5 years at our child care center.

Playing and Learning Go Hand in Hand

We, at Adventure Begin CDE, take a 'process' over 'product' approach to learning. Activities and projects are introduced through exploration and child-initiated ideas. We encourage individual exploration and assist the child in guiding them through their own creative process.

We continually invest in toys and rotate them throughout to keep children constantly engaged and challenged. Areas, such as the Block Room, Science Area, Puzzle Area, and Dramatic Play, encourage children to independently explore a variety of objects that enhance their learning.

Teaching Philosophy

At The Adventure Begins CDE there are many teaching styles in which your child will learn and grow. Such ways include Direct/Indirect, Open Format, Plan-Do-Review, Child Initiated, High Scope, Montessori and Play Based to name a few. It is our feeling that there is no one particular teaching strategy that is best for learning. Since each teacher brings their own unique teaching ideas and style to the program, they are encouraged to seek elements from each strategy and apply them to their teachings.
